![]() Something to remember is that I am sure that a install that are from CD applications, I think are bundled differenyl thant element 5's process of bundling an application. I then took my newly download Photoimpact v10 application and installed it and it was the smoothest installation I have ever had. I turned off my anti-virus softweare and any oither non-essential background applications. With that done, I ran CCleaner again, defragged and re-booted my PC. I also do a check of the registry to remove references to Photoimpact as well. I also will search and wipe out any Photoimpact folders that still exist. I then run an amazing freeware program called Ccleaner with will allow references from your registry to files that no longer exist, to be deleted. I have learned, just like I learned from my upgrading of my ATI graphics and Multi Media software, which I did last night, that the best thing to do is unstall older version. and because I am such a long term user of Photoimpact, I have had lot of "residue" of older installations. Second is that Photoimpact is an vast application. What occured is that on my registration record, the download date was extended. ![]() Then since I had the documentation for the invoice, I could copy and past it in a tech support for element 5. It really was pretty easy once I understood what is where and understanding how Ulead and element 5 work. I saw that I had three accounts that stemmed from me email and I was able to see, download and reprint all of my invoices which were in PDF format. I was amazing in seeing how many times I have upgraded and purchased new product online. The key I found was getting to element 5 and clicking and loging on to their record of your purchases. ![]() the good thing is that can be re-captured with Ulead as well. The same with, Bissell floor cleaning products and Palm Gear (for Palm software), Main Concept encoding software, Liteon Drives and trully, every single vendor that I have purchase items from that I remember.īUT. It is really cool that I can go to their web site, log on as a customer and I can see and reprint every single order that I have ever made with them., I had my hard drive drive and lost my emails, but it is my opinion that that in dealing with a company that deals with PC software, thgat if your product is registered it should be difficulty getting the information.įor example, I assemble PCs and I also purchase a lot of perihperial and parts. Ulead is a little deifferent, especially on how Element 5 handles the download distribution and billing. The first thing is to understand the culture of each vendor as well as how to get things done. Due to a post here, I received help and was delighted. I had just about the exact exact same situation. ![]()
